On Aria’s Last Chapter and Its Deletion

This probably comes too late; a lot of people saw it, and it’s because of that that I’m making this post.

It was a  bad chapter. I don’t mean I was displeased with the way it was written, exactly, but rather…it was a Bad Chapter. It was treading that near-invisible line between “sex within a narrative” and “straight-up gratuitous”, and I feel that it tipped too far into the latter, especially considering the subject matter. Aria does in fact have a very active libido and that will pretty much be a focal point of her later adventures, but that’s not what this is about, and I needed to reign it in.

Naturally I did not back it up so I can’t salvage anything :V

Anyway. If I made anyone uncomfortable or otherwise upset or disgusted, I do deeply apologize. If this has turned you off the blog, I totally get it. I’d like you to stick around, of course, but I know how it is when someone you’re following does something you find gross, whether it’s ethical, political, or whatever.

A revised and hopefully better replacement will be coming along in the near future.

Thanks y’all.

Oh damn, and I didn’t have time to read it. Bummer. I saw like 2 paragraphs and well I was like ‘huh’? … it didn’t bother me any.

I still remember the advice you gave me on the chapter I pulled, so I think you’ll make a good choice. Always happy to assist if needed. Still recovering so my creative stuffs on the back burner lol.

The incidents in question were a little ehhhhhh…It can definitely be rewritten with the sexual situations included, but they just needed to be toned down. I think I let my own weirdnesses show, and nobody wants that mess lol

You're sweet and even if it would have bothered you I know you'd have let me know in a nice way, but I kinda just squicked myself out and thought to play it safe.

Rest assured the revision will be much better 🙂
